My bad I went 3 pages into Mid-Antlantic and ass-u-me-d there was no way HVB hadn't had a post in weeks.

Didn't realize the release was Friday this week, I'm sure that helps. Thanks.

Where did they announce the Friday release? Is this just based on history of sat/fri release alternates?

Also, if I'm trying to plan a trip to a release next month, is there any way to predict when the release will be?

In 2018, the releases have been the final Saturday of each month and two weeks prior on the Friday. This would mean the next 6 releases are likely to be 6/15, 6/30, 7/13, 7/28, 8/10, 8/25. Assuming there's a release Friday, they will likely tease something on IG today/tomorrow and post more details tomorrow/Thurs.

And my apologies for moving away along with the rest of the audience for your alleged humor. P.S. I think you flatter yourself with the humor thing, to me it isn't humor if it lacks being funny

So the past two releases lasted until the second day right? Any chance this isn't a fluke?

So since this thread is titled Hudson Valley, what would people recommend for a day or weekend trip as far as places to hit? Plan bee just opened a tap room if I understood the latest Steal This Beer episode correctly... anyone been?

Plan Bee is pretty close to Mill House in Poughkeepsie. You can probably also hit Sloop and Suarez in the same day for a nice day trip.

As far as where to go in Hudson Valley, there are a ton of places and it's a big area. How much driving are you looking to do?

Yeah you gotta break the HV up into three regions really.

Downstate is like Equilibrium, Rushing Duck, Industrial Arts, District 96, Long Lot Farm, Peekskill, Hudson Valley and Newburgh.

You've got Poughkeepsie/New Paltz which is Millhouse, Plan Bee, Arrowood Farms, Bacchus, Rough Cut, Blue Collar and Hudson Ale Works.

Then you've got Hudson area which is Hudson Brewing, Sloop, Suarez, Crossroads, Rip Van Winkle, Chatham, Great Life, Keegan.

This is to say nothing of pockets like Wappingers Falls that have a few brewery or when you really get into the Catskills with Woodstock and West Kill.

Funny thing is just those hitting all those downstate breweries you listed is a trek. Rushing Duck and Equilibrium are 40-60 minutes from Newburgh and HVB, I think.

By the way, OP and others inquiring:

I really enjoy their house pilsner, Feel No Way, and my understanding is they will keep the fridge stocked with it all times in 6- packs.

A pilsner aged in oak for a year.. in cans. 2018 beer is weird.

Feel no way is in stock at Good Beer in NYC (for in house consumption) which is pretty cool.

Heard some good things, and looks like they are doing a tap takeover in Kingsdon
