Someone just asked this today in the HVB Facebook group and got responses of 2 pp per style. Maybe that was you? Haha.

The Apple Cider one is really great to be honest. Literally Apple Cider with a balanced dose of cinnamon. I'm surprised how well done this was.

Finally got around to trying it. Final verdict: it’s good for what it is and accomplishes exactly what it set out to do. Tastes like an extra tart raspberry chocolate candy. Never was a huge fan of the chocolate/fruit combination though so this falls into the “good, not great” tier for me.

Having said that, I feel like the raspberry flavor on this tastes far less medicinal than the Ultrasphere cans.

Amulet could be the best beer I’ve had all year. So glad they have crowlers to go!

What have the HV lines been looking like on their Saturday releases? Do I need to be there by 8am to get an allotment?

I predict that Saturday will be a total shit show. Multichorus and Subglitch are pretty hyped-up after the first release, for good reason.

Yeah...multichorus was my favorite beer that I had last year.

These beer is amazing but I do appreciate the irony of putting all this effort into getting a beer to taste like.. a cider.

B3 of Ultrasphere eased up on the medicinal flavor, too.

The fact that their parking lot is being redone and you need to find street parking further compounds the shit show too.

Nope. I've seen folks roll up hours after and still get full. But there were also big releases at nearby breweries the same day.

This has been the norm lately (except for Glycerin where they didn't make as much beer). I think the re-release of a massively hyped beer will make this different. The only other comparable re-release was Ultrasphere, which a lot of people didn't try on the first batch as it was their first can release.

Thinking about heading out to HVB tomorrow for the first time. I see there’s a can release at noon, if I get there around 3 would it still be a zoo there?

Pulling out the greatest hits, huh?

Here’s to hoping next release is Apotheosis and Eveningland.

Assume complete craziness on Friday? Would like to head up for the first time but not sure I want to get in line at 1:00 (or sooner). Advice?

Friday releases are more low key than Saturdays. Cans sometimes last the night and go into Saturday although this release definitely won't. People do have to work, and it's not like everyone can take a personal day just to go buy beer. I don't think you have to get there super early, but I'd get there before open for sure.

May I ask: has Amorphia been released multiple times and is it always the same flavor profile or changes? I think one of the earlier ones people on this forum were talking about a strawberry flavor; but was that one batch and different batches had different mixes?
