I got the actual name of the property owner of said shipping address and all the residents there if you want to use an accurate name, I think the one he used in shipping was a pseudonym.

 

bummer that people will stoop to such lengths to deceive others when it comes to beer..I wish I could say I'm shocked by this but sadly i'm not

 

If the Assassin is a fugazi I sincerely doubt the KBBS is legit as well, it's more valuable and perhaps even easier to fake because it's so limited who would know? Do they wax that too? The wax job on the assassin looked fishy from the start, it's way too perfect and completely unlike the others pictured, he just reused what he peeled off.

This thread is such a f'in turn off but I can't say I'm that surprised with the way craft beer has gained in popularity. Maybe it's just my imagination but it seems as if more and more people are going to much greater lengths to taste or profit off whatever the latest greatest beer beer is. Sorry to the guys who got f'ed.

That db cake looks legit. Gold cap and everything. It's the same way mine looks and i bought it from the brewery. The fill line looks a little bit lower thab mine but that could be due to natural variations during filling.

 

Looks about right for Westbrook.

several of you have sent me BMs regaring this situation and i appreciate that greatly.

as of now, i have banned the BA accounts for @Leazk and @EdwardFortyHands indefinitely since they appear to be one and the same person. both have negative trade feedback and the edward account was put in a long timeout previously. my account investigation shows there to be no doubt that they are the same user.

@Todd can you review these accounts in greater detail and perhaps put a more comprehensive solution in place for this user? people feel that he'll come back again and again to scam other BAs.

i ask that if you guys (and gals) know of people with multiple accounts, that you report them promptly to help prevent things like this from happening. you're really protecting yourselves in the end.

there are plenty of accounts which use this site only for its deep base of traders. as it continues to grow, we will depend on you to help police the site. we can only be so many places at so many times.

 

Good intel. I have spoken w Clark before about this guys shady behavior (edwardfortyhands) and he definately knows the real face behind this BA identity so I will forward on to Clark and hopefully this guy will be shut out from TG post haste.
