Anyone else having issues posting pictures from Imgur the last few days? Tried to include a few pictures in posts today using the Image function like I always do, and they are showing up as broken. @jmdrpi i just went back and looked at some of my recent image posts. I use imgur also. Mine seem to be working. Is there anything that seems off on the imgur page of the image(s) that are now broken? Can you try to re post the same image?
Not sure how you are grabbing the imgur url but I always grab from Get Share Links and grab the link under the BBCode option (I use a browser fwiw). This imgur URL for me always has the format as i.imgur.com/xxxxx.jpg. The link in your NN post did not have the i. bit present, only imgur.com. I just added it to that post's image link below and it is working fine. So might be the url you are grabbing possibly.
@jmdrpi What browser are you using? I have experienced similar issues with Imgur that were Chrome related but trying Safari or others were fine.
Seems like maybe it's a Mobile App vs Website issue. Even though I have been doing it the same way I always have. This I did the way I normally do via the mobile app, this does have the "i.imur" format This is using the Wepage share link option the way I also have always done it if I'm on my Computer (manually adding the .jpg onto the end). Looks like that's the issue, seems weird it suddenly changed.
I had been using imgbb which recently experienced some troubles, so I switched to postimage. Still waiting for the long promised society perk to upload photos directly…..
Yeah, the share link doesn't have the i. bit as below. Maybe it can work but gets wonky over time or something? Sounds like you have it sorted anyway. ETA: Also, need to remove the img tags from the BBCode value when adding the url using the picture icon in a post here

Now all my older broken posts are showing up correctly again. Weird. I'll make sure I use the "i.imgur" links in the future just in case this happens again.
Chrome to Chrome IMGUR test on my desktop Mac... Using the BBCode as demonstrated by Jaycase (and the same copy & paste into a post I've always used).
Imgbb has been really slow this morning, PostImages has been really bad since it had that security warning come up a few weeks back. I’ve switched over to ImgHippo which worked flawlessly until this week. There were two days that it refused to accept my pictures. No problems today, and there have never been any issues with viewing the pics once they are uploaded.
Imgur recently erased all my public beer posts. They did not not erase my public non-beer posts. (Please see my above recent non-beer public Imgur post.) Imgur works for a couple months in a row for me, then stops working. This cycle has occurred the entire duration of my participation on this website. I tried to have all my posts private, but that stops working every so often. Public posts often do work when private posts do not, so I was on a streak of public posts for BeerAdvocate, until they deleted them all, unless there was not a beer in the picture.
That's a very weird occurrence. Maybe I shouldn't say this out loud, but all of my beer pics are on IMGUR -- including the year, or so, old one I posted in this thread. Maybe this is an odd question, but does IMGUR think you're underage by some preference setting or something?
Were your posts public? My private beer posts remain. I post a lot of beer selfies, so if they think my Gandalf-looking beer selfies are too young, I would be happy to hear it.
I'm guessing not, but I set up my account so long ago, I'm not sure. I read something about them deleting old and inactive posts, but I guess I'm not even sure how to post at IMGUR. Pretty much use it as an archive for forum posts.
