    Hey all,

Will be in Barcelona for a few weeks this fall. I've got Lambicus on my agenda, but was curious if there are any other particularly promising beer bars and/or bottle shops.

    Thanks!

Oh well, now I noticed that you already know about Lambicus. As it is both a shop and a bar combined, it should fulfill all your wishes. You won't find a better lambic place in Barcelona, but of course many of the local brewpubs and craft beer bars serve Spanish sour ales too.

I've been to Rosses i Torrades - celler de cerveses, and second that recommendation. Again a combined beer store and pub / tasting room. Would visit again.

Note that the Lambicus bar and bottle shop are around the corner from each other. Would hate for you to walk in the bar, see the relatively small cooler of bottles and think that's the only selection. The bottle shop has an impressive wall of lambic to choose from. If you only go to one shop, it would be the one.

As mentioned above, Biercab is a good stop. It has good tapas and good beer on draft, and the adjacent bottle shop had Fou' Foune and LPF, among others, for sale when we were there a couple years ago.

Also, Drapaire is a bar off La Rambla that had a small but not bad lambic selection when we were there. Was able to buy a St. Lamvinus to-go, too.
