I was wondering if anybody had heard of this. I have a friend down in Australia who swears by the stuff from this brewery. Particularly their bright ale. I was wondering if anybody else has tried this.

Yes. But I am an Australian, so yeah.

Get your hands on it bro - one of the [unbiased opinion alert!] best APAs out there.

Yes. The Pale Ale is definetly first rate in my view. Have had it multiple times. When I get a chance to visit OZ it's one of my regulars. (And I'm not Australian.)

(As for the Bright Ale, I've not tried it since my time has been spent in Sydny on the other side of the continent from Perth and don't think I've seen it there,)

Wonderful beer - the Bright Ale was my favorite. Had it several times when I was in Singapore.

As someone that has experienced the LC range, you should seek out their Pale Ale first before the Bright Ale. Quite an exceptional beer. The Bright Ale is good but I would rate the Pale Ale and Rogers (which is their low ABV offering) ahead of it.

And just for the record Doktorhops that the Bright Ale is an English Pale Ale while the Pale Ale is the APA.

Convincing Americans that it's worth hunting down would be like selling ice to Eskimos, but if your in Australia it's definitely worth picking up. The pale and the bright are both cracking beers.

It is solid - if you ever see it, totally worth it. I am Aussie, but live in Chicago, so every time I go home finding good beer is actually a bit of a chore. Little Creatures has become a go-to, as well as Murray's and the Knappstein Lager.

I've been to their awesome brewpub in Freemantle, my favourite town in Australia.

I thought the beer was a bit on the shit side though.

Well yes, fine, but it isn't like you can wander into the Dan Murphy's in Albury and get that; or have a bloke drive from Canberra with a cooler full of beers for you :grinning::stuck_out_tongue:

Some of the beers in Aus are awesome, but pretty hard to find - Little Creatures is a good go to beer that is everywhere for sure

I agree. My top easily acquired Aussie beers:

Little Creatures Pale Ale/Stone & Wood Pacific Ale
    Feral Hop Hog/Mash Copycat AIPA
    Knappstein Reserve Lager
    Coopers Best Extra Stout

Haven't had the Copycat, but otherwise that is pretty much my list too - That stone and wood you gave me last time was a mighty tasty beer and easy drinking at 4%. I wish more of the Aussie brewers would come over here and make session beers for the americans - we could do with some tasty lighter beers!

The pale ale is an excellent beer. I had a bottle of it in Vancouver, and the beer can compete with Sierra Nevada in quality.

It's a nice APA (Australian Pale Ale).
