Long Island Beer stores/breweries

    Heading to Long Island for a wedding this weekend. (plainview specifically) are there any beer stores or breweries in the area that are must-go to places? Anything in particular I should keep a look out for?

    Here are my must hits for the area. Barrier should be #1 on your list with Money and Dunegrass tops on your list to drink.
    Breweries - Barrier Brewing in Oceanside. About 15-20 min ride with no traffic
    Stores - Superstar Deer Park, Superstar Huntington, Shoreline in Huntington, Syosset Beverage

    hit beermenu...put in Plainview, checkout inventory in the stores/bars see if theirs anything that floats your boat
    gonna be 20 choices to make...and do Barrier if you havent already

    Agreed, I work in Plainview, Hicksville and Syosset are solid, Whole foods is decent though i have heard bad things about their growlers.

    Morrison's is a good bar/gastro pub, only 10 taps or so but always interesting selections.
