    Our Culture
At Long Live, we’re all about the beer – and chill taproom vibes. Our space is about community: where you’re bound to run into an old friend, or make new ones.
    IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BEER
We brew every drop of beer we serve here. We constantly evolve our menu because we never stop exploring what’s possible – and revisiting favorite profiles from the past. Most of our product is available only in the taproom – so come often to enjoy the latest.

We are hop-focused, but continue to explore the spectrum of styles that we love to drink. We’ve introduced over 40 new beers in 2018, and will be rolling out an expanded facility + barrel aging program in 2019, along with new partnerships and events that celebrate the collaborative nature of Providence.

    The taproom
We just moved into our new beautiful two-level taproom (and upgraded brewery). Our taproom has expanded, but still celebrates the cozy and energetic vibes we’re known for. Cheers to new memories and adventures!

    The people
We love seeing familiar faces and making new friends. The best part of brewing, is sharing a glass with you. Curious about the muscle behind the beer? Learn more about our brewer.

That guy who makes the beer.

Armando DeDona is a hardcore hop enthusiast and a craftsman at heart. Whether he’s building a bar or crafting a recipe, he’s always working with his hands.
Armando’s passion for brewing began over 16 years ago when he received a brew kit as a gift. And, his love for craft beer started a good deal earlier than that. A natural problem-solver and creator, Armando honed his brewing skills over the many years as a home brewer. To get legit, Armando studied commercial beer-making and traditional cask-conditioning in the U.K., and continues to stay in-tune with the latest in the scene.

    QUICK FACTS ABOUT ARMANDO
    • Guiding Principal: I’d rather make something than buy something

    • Friends say: I’m totally serious about not being serious

    • Favorite hop: Centennial – it’s the workhorse for the IPA

    • Favorite beer-pairing: Burger and an IPA

    • Unsung beer style you’d like to see thrive in the U.S.: I’d like to see more bars carrying cask-conditioned ales

    • Kirk or Picard: Picard

I’ll be cracking my bottle of 5 Years On during the American Handegg Championship tonight. Very excited to try it. Their stouts are some of the best in New England right now

I actually haven't had anything from them but have been hearing nothing but great reviews.

Started this thread to get some chatter going. I'll get down there eventually. Maybe this thread will get me motivated

Well worth a roadtrip. Visited the outdoor section over the summer, the inside in the beforetimes. Very nice friendly place with excellent brews.

5 Years On was good, a lot of barrel character but a tad sweet for my liking. I wasn't really able to pick out much from the blend but it was tasty. I'm going to stick to non-adjunct beers more often because that's all I find myself truly enjoying these days
