I always use Places to plan my vacation trips and I'd like to know if mapping multiple brewery addresses directly from a Places search can be done now, or if it has been considered for an enhancement? If it's possible to do it now, how?

Not possible today - I have personally created Google maps for these types of scenarios. I would like to see this in the future as well.

Similar request here. I love the city list of places but when traveling I don't always known how close the suburban cities are to where I'm staying. People coming to Chicago, for example, might be looking for a place near the airport but not know to look at listings in Rosemont and not Chicago.

If you're looking at places in the US, in the interim you can try using the "Nearby" feature on the mobile app or website (http://www.beeradvocate.com/m/nearby/) to get an idea of where places are located and the towns they are listed under on the regular site. Although there is no filter to just show breweries, they have a yellow icon that is different from bars and stores. The only drawback is that if you're using it to research in advance of a trip, you need to zoom out and pan over to the city you are traveling to because your current location always shows up in the default map view.

I'm assuming not but am hoping I'm blind. If you're familiar with places like Los Angeles then you know how there are dozens of cities that are considered Los Angeles but also have their own names too. As I'm driving around Los Angeles all the time (I'm a truck driver) I would love to be able to see a map view of the Places to see if there are any bottle shops near me that I haven't been to.

Especially for people out of town. They don't know all the cities so there are way too many forum threads saying I'm going to <some city in Los Angeles> and where should I go. If there was a map view, they would be able to see what cities are around theirs and which places are closer than they thought.
Having to know all the city lines makes it very difficult to know which cities to search when a map view would be instant. To prove my point how big Los Angeles is, here is the list of cities from this site that are included in Los Angeles:
The Los Angeles area includes the following cities, towns and variations: Acton, Agoura Hills, Alhambra, Arcadia, Arleta, Atwater, Avalon, Azusa, Baldwin Hills, Bel Air, Bell Gardens, Beverly Hills, Boyle Heights, Burbank, Calabasas, Canoga Park, Carson, Castiac, Century City, Cerritos, Chatsworth, City of Industry, Claremont, Commerce, Compton, Covina, Crenshaw, Culver City, Diamond Bar, Downey, Eagle Rock, Echo Park, El Monte, El Segundo, Encino, Florence, Gardena, Glendale, Glendora, Granada Hills, Hancock Park, Hawaiian Gardens, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Hidden Hills, Highland Park, Hollywood, Inglewood, Irwindale, Jefferson Park, Koreatown, La Canada, La Puente, La Verne, Lancaster, Lebec, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Los Feliz, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Mar Vista, Marina del Rey, Mission Hills, Monrovia, Montebello, Montecito, Monterey Park, North Hollywood, Northridge, Norwalk, Pacoima, Palmdale, Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Panorama City, Park La Brea, Pasadena, Pico Heights, Playa del Rey, Pomona, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Reseda, Rosemead, San Dimas, San Fernando, San Gabriel, San Pedro, Santa Clarita, Santa Fe Springs, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Sierra Madre, Signal Hill, Silverlake, South Pasadena, Studio City, Sun Valley, Sylmar, Tarzana, Temple City, Toluca Lake, Torrance, Universal City, Valencia, Valley Village, Van Nuys, Venice, Vernon, Walnut, Watts, West Adams, West Covina, West Hills, West Hollywood, Westchester, Westlake, Westlake Village, Westwood, Whittier, Winnetka, Woodland Hills

Edit: thanks for merging this into the right thread. So, has anyone made their own on google maps for Los Angeles? I made one specifically for Russian River beers in LA and south of LA. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.507...=!3m1!4b1!4m2!6m1!1szzHW4oKKzEJU.ks6kOikdVqDQ
