Picked up an * four pack today and now that I got home I see it doesn't have a date on the bottom of the can and it has one those date stickers on the 4 pack holder but there is no date on it. Did I just buy year old *?

 

Was it next to 2015 bcbs?

 

Probably. I Will say that 6 months old * is pretty terrific.

 

I just bought some dated 10/8 but it’s the 2017 ..
rather have fresher beer but it’s nce head with that mosaic goodness !

 

Saw that 6x9 is starting to pop up on tap in Denver.

 

Yeah, also coming to Casper at Frontier Brewing Company and Taproom.

 

Second week of October, probably.

 

It still tastes great.

 

Sometimes our date coder acts up and we have to revert to the date sticker on top. Sometimes those rub off which is why the date coder is ideal. The * you bought was definitely 10/8. We’re still figuring out supply vs demand in CO and working to make the RIIPAs available but fresh. It’s a tough balancing act. We’ll still stand behind the fact that our DIPAs are actually better 30-60 days in though. Booziness mellows and flavors come together. We also go to great lengths with QC to make sure our hoppy beers hold up for 90 days.

Walmart uses that same ‘wheel and spoke’ model FYI.

 

Dam. Finally found some 2x4 here in Crested Butte. I was pumped til I looked at the bottom of the can..........9/24/17. Pass.

 

Crested butte doesn't have many options for beer stores in my experience the few times I've been there but I wouldn't worry too much about 3 month old melvin. I've had 6+ month old melvins and they still taste great....
