How was javatized? Been into IPAs and pils lately so I've been skipping it but curious. Haven't seen a single unfortunately.

I liked it. Good coffee flavor without being overly bitter. I prefer the Big Axe Stonehouse by a hair.

One of the best coffee beers I've ever had is Lucky Bucket Wicked Joe, put KBS to shame. It came out in bottles for the first time this past winter, but suspect that it will be an annual release. Really incredible. Looks like you do get Lucky Bucket in Minnesota. The non-BA version is called Certified Evil, and is decent too.

Thanks for the reccomendations! I was able to pick up almost all of them while I was in Decorah for the Mornin' Delight release.

    Got It. thanks!

I'm going to be Taking a vacation to Michigan soon and am looking forward to finding some coffee brews while out there as well.

Finally got it. HUGE amounts of head, it jumps right out of the can! A gentle pour doesn't keep it down either. Still waiting / looking for Dark Infusion and Arabicadabra.

    Enjoyed this one, thanks.

Still hoping to try Spare Grounds and Ominous with coffee. I see bad weather also has a coffee white stout - Immortal Toast.

Many good recommendations here, a few I will check out.

Two very good Chicago offerings not mentioned yet:

Goose Island - 2019 Bourbon County Cafe de Olla Stout - You may not get this variant in Minneapolis, but I'd try to hunt down a pour if this variant makes it. This marks the return of coffee after a one year semi-hiatus (2018 Barleywine version).

Revolution - Coffee Eugene - Revolution distributes across the river in Wisconsin. Coffee Eugene just came out for 2019 (Fall release annually). I look forward annually for this release.

Haven't seen Victory at Sea variants in the thread (Ballast Point), not sure if you get this in Minneapolis but worth grabbing if you have a chance.

Two other west coast coffee pours I love are Morning Joe by Banger Brewing located on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, and Parabajava by Firestone Walker, definitely worth the effort to snag a bottle.

I have no idea what the bourbon county varient scene is like but I am going to try and pick up the cafe de olla. I will also keep my an eye out for Coffee Eugene.

I have had the High West Victory At Sea and the Peppermint. The peppermint was not good (it was 4$ for a 2017 750ml so I'm giving it a pass). I reallyenjoyed the barrel aged vas.

We we'll definately be visiting Banger when we go to las Vegas in a few days. Maybe we will see some parabajava while in Vegas.

    Thanks for the info! :beers:
