Any NC folks tried this yet? I don't think bottles have made it out into distribution yet, but maybe on tap somewhere.

I enjoy some of Mother Earth's other beers, but they are probably too under the radar for this release to gain a lot of attention, even locally.

I was a little bit disappointed in '14 Silent Night (my first), but I kept it for a year before I opened it, so maybe it does not age well. If I see '15 on tap somewhere, I'll have to give it a go.

I think Mother Earth puts out the best beer in North Carolina so I'll definitely be picking this up when I see it.

Silent Night is always a straight bourbon bomb when fresh, so I have one from each of the last two years still in the cellar. No idea if it ages well having not opened them yet, but it's just a mediocre beer in general IMO.

Wow, couldn't disagree more. I really like Silent Night and I thought 15 was great when I had it at the tap room. Each to his own I guess.

Hey I hear ya, and I know a lot of people love it. And I'm not even necessarily saying that bourbon bombs are a bad thing. But you just gotta like it hot like that. I honestly like Mother Earth in general and think they make some great brews, particularly their German ones. I'm excited to try this new IPA too. I'm just not a huge fan of SN.

Sounds like I will need to try it fresh. I thought it was too mellow with a year on it.

    2015 isn't their best, I Think.

I have this odd tradition of getting a bottle or two. Drinking one on Christmas Eve while I put the kids crap together.

Tried one fresh and I think it ages well.

Anyone try the Snow Flurry yet? I see it's been out a few days, haven't had a chance to grab any.

I grabbed a single and tried it. I'm sure some folks will like it, but I probably don't need another one.

I had one over the weekend and agree with @CavemanRamblin. It's decent, but I won't go out of my way to drink it again. It does remind me of winter with a subtle rye spice and the juniper, but I did think the juniper overpowered the hops.

Sounds like I better grab a single instead of a sixer.

It's been on tap at a pizzaria near me for a week. Right now there are several good beers on tap there, including 2 other IPAs. But Snow Flurry is easily the best. It is a FANTASTIC IPA! Fruity. Rye. Wonderful stuff. I will be sad when the keg kicks, but I will have had a significant hand in kicking it.
