Shouldn't this be titled the World's most consumed beer?

Interesting to see 2 Brazilian brands on there. I had no idea they were that large.

If I understand right, SAB Miller capitalized on Chinas population size and started brewing out that way.Smart....very smart.......

Skol. While not isolated to Brazil, that's it's main market.

I am blown away by my ignorance on this. I assumed if people were drinking AALs abroad it was small and local or it was BMC. Haven't even heard of half those beers.

Ahh, I saw who it was owned by and didn't realize it was Brazil's most popular beer. 2.8% abv.....I can see why they drink so much of it.

A distinction without a difference for a consumer product.

If you listen to the BMC-haters on this site, you'd think that the popularity of Bud Light is due only to their massive advertising campaigns. The evidence that American beer drinkers - and beer drinkers the world over - prefer the taste of light lagers, however, is pretty overwhelming.

(Hand me an IPA or a stout any day, though. )

Trouble with these lists is that they are from a US site compiled by US drinkers, mostly of beers not found elsewhere. The bulk of people of course find the most popular beers the most delicious which is why they buy them.

Chinese are out drinking Americans, no $hit because there are like a zillion more Chinese that populate the earth.

I remember @jesskidden saying something along the lines of Snow doesn't count their different beers seperately, so it would be akin to Budweiser including Bud Light, Bud Platinum, Budweiser, etc... all under one category labeled budweiser.
