Will be spending a couple days in Muskegon (staying at the Holiday Inn Harbor). I've always gone to Grand Haven and Grand Rapids for beer obviously, but is there any place in Muskegon worth looking at from brewery to bottle shop?
I am from Muskegon and have to ask what made you go there? As for beers, Pigeon Hill and Unruly are both breweries downtown and worth checking out. For a bottle shop, Ladd's Pharmacy is the place to go. For food hit the Station Grill for great burgers and G&L Chili Dogs.
We are heading to Muskegon because my Grandmother lives in Norton Shores. Normally get a place to stay in Grand Haven, but not much available that was reasonably priced. Certainly will go visit Odd Side, like we always do. We have lots of family in Muskegon so spending a couple of days there, then heading towards Ludington (more family) and then towards UP. We are having a big gathering of the Michigan clan at a place called Hank's Tavern.
