So I just noticed that some recently added or recently changed brewery locations aren't showing up on my "Nearby" map. These are just a couple examples that are in close proximity to each other so easy to show:

Recently (within the past few months) added place:

Recently (within the past few months) relocated (moved location) place:
    https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/450/

They should both show up on this screenshot, but don't. You can even see the Google label for Yards without the Brewery symbol. Love City should be showing up on Hamilton Street on the left side of the map :

Not sure that I agree that it is not a high priority but you do have a very limited amount of development resources (@Todd and @Mike) being applied to lots of different activities - I know lots of resource went into the new admin tools that allow us to better merge beers, approve places, and edit beers/places as well as the effort to roll that out to breweries to claim ownership of their brewery and manage some aspects of the beers/place.

I know this is on the to do list but I'm guessing this is not going to be a simple fix.

Folks probably understand that resources need to be managed, and focused on the urgent/important issues. I figure Beer Advocate knows their business well, and I appreciate the results of their efforts and vision. I also respect the users, of the site, who voice their interests.

The Nearby feature is fantastic and, in my limited experience, unique to Beer Advocate. As such, if it is well maintained and developed, the Nearby feature can be a powerful tool, and possibly drive more business to Beer Advocate and small beer related business. The small business who rightly and disproportionately benefit from seemingly minor assistance.

This opinion brought to you by a self-professed humble advocate of respectful enjoyment of beer. ;-). Thank you for reading.

@Mike mentioned that he has been working on it over the last week and hopes to have it resolved soon.

Yes, I agree that the Nearby function is hands-down one of the best features of BA. I use it all the time when traveling for work. There are some other websites that focus on brewery locations, but not as mobile friendly, and also they don't cover beer bars & restaurants.
