Don't want to hijack this map thread, but check out this thread and this thread for starters.

What Fulton HAD, now everything comes out of NE Minneapolis at the production plant. Also, that map is coming along nicely! I cannot believe the number of breweries we have...

While I love these maps, they really reinforce the Brewery/Brewpub Desert that is Maple Grove. I wonder if it's a legal thing...

Granite City was up there, and wasn't there also a Hops up there in Grovelandia once upon a time?

I think it's less a legal matter and more about times changing and palates changing, as well.

For the sake of comparison, here's a site with a comprehensive set of checkbox search modifiers:
    http://www.minnesotabrewerylist.com/brewery/

Note: I'm not sure whose page that is, but there are enough people 'on the same page' as it were, in terms of gathering the information into a single, easy to use application, site, or page.

Ha, I spent my 21st birthday at Hops back in 2002! I really wish we had some options up in this part of the metro, I guess I'll keep spending my money in Minneapolis :0

What's 3 Squares, a loaf of bread? :sunglasses:

My understanding of the Grove is informed mostly by my best friend who's lived there for twenty of his forty-five years. According to him the biggest concern of the local constabulary is the motion of automobiles in relation to excess beverage consumption on the part of their drivers. So maybe @cmannes is on the right track?
