Will be traveling to New Orleans for a bachelor party in August. Where is the best place for good craft beer on and around Bourbon Street/French Quarters??
This place was kinda cool, if you find yourself nearby. Have fun! Not much high quality brewing in the Bourbon/French area specifically, but get on a streetcar and you can find some interesting places... https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33103/
Brieux Carré Brewing Co. off of Frenchman's Street was a nice place to visit for beer and a courtyard.
Would probably check this post out: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/breweries-to-visit-in-new-orleans.516264/ You know, since we cover a good bit of stuff in there
I would second the Brieux Carré recommendation. I wasn't blown away by any of the beers we had but they were all at least good, and the courtyard was a nice place to hang out for a bit.
When in NOLA and looking for craft beer, first choice should always be The Avenue Pub. If you want package brew to bring back home or to the hotel, 504 Craft Beer Reserve on Tulane Ave. is an absolute gem and is almost always my first stop.
Steins is also a sweet bottle shop, I prefer the vibe of 504 but the selection of steins. Also, don't waste your time staying within walking of Bourbon Street, just uber.
