This mainpage thread: https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...-four-six-of-their-beers.671009/#post-7689087 got me wondering about out here. In Bham, I think Gruff and Stones Throw are the only ones to sell singles, and I can't think of any who sell mixed packs. How about your neighborhood?
Okay, in Spokane, I know of Community Pint, Huckleberry's, Nectar, Happy Trails To Brews, JB's, Total Wine and (barely) Trader Joe's. In Millwood, WA, there's Bottles. Not sure there's anything in Spokane Valley besides the Valley Total Wine. Once upon a time there was a place in the valley called Vintage Vines that was primarily a wine shop, but they closed some time ago, pre-pandemic, I think. In Coeur d'Alene, there's Pilgrim's.
Some Spokane area breweries let you buy singles (Whistle Punk, Lumberbeard for pretty much all on hand, and Iron Goat and For The Love Of God for specific beers), but the majority that package will only allow you to buy a sixer or 4-pk.
Upright and Chuckanut sell singles and mixed 4/6 packs and that's honestly all I need. Most bottleshops I frequent ( ABV, Beermongers and Uptown Market) sell singles of basically everything so I get all other breweries i want to try.
Same out where I live. NW Growlers (where I am at present) has several shelves of singles (cans and bottles).
Fremont sells singles, and so does Good Society in West Seattle. I think Ladd and Lass does as well. Most breweries don’t, but fortunately most everyone distributes to bottle shops so getting a single can isn’t too hard anymore. I don’t need to drink four of everything. That gets expensive and frankly I just don’t drink that much.
