Outdoor kegerator help needed...

    I'm looking to get an outdoor kegerator for my dad for Father's Day and I am completely clueless on everything about them. Can someone please give me any recommendations and/or point me in the right direction to do some research of my own.

    I think your choices for outdoor are limited, and pricey.

    They are all high end brands. Bev Air and True are the most common commercial units in bars, so while Marvel, Perlick and Summit are all good names, I'd lean towards the Bev Air. $1950 is a good price.

    You can save a little money on the bevair unit and go with the standard black one.It is perfectly fine for outdoor use since .They just claim the s/s one for outdoor use since the s/s wont rust every other component is exactly the same.After years of use the black vinyl can start rusting underneath from the steel. Also since its a gift you don't want to sell him a unit that requires hours of tinkering with, and modifications with fans to work properly.
