    hey BA

Heading to Palm desert next weekend and looking for recommendations on breweries and or stores to buy some bottles. I know they have a total wine but didn't see a local bottle shop on Google maps.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Best bet will be Total Wine or Whole Foods not much for shops. Would have to take a little drive to La Quinta Tap room or Coachella Valley Brewing depending on where you are staying in Pal Desert.

It truly is a desert, and that can include beer unless you know where to look.

Total Wine is quite well stocked and has most of the recent releases from the major brewers.

Bottles? Tri-Palms Market on Monterey (just N of the 10 Fwy) is an up-and-coming Craft destination. They will be receiving Revision Leafy Greens on Monday and also carry Melvin as well.

As @BeerZombies1 mentioned, La Quinta Brewing Tap Room on Main in Old Town La Quinta has an excellent mix of their beer and quality guest taps as well. I'd hit this as opposed to going to the brewery.

Other go-to's? Draughtsman is across town on 111 next to Arrive Hotel and has a respectable tap list (Revision Smoke & Mirrors anyone?) as does Eureka! Burger on 111 & Cook.

As an added bonus, Whole Foods on 111 just East of Fred Waring has an amusing set of 24 tap handles with some quality nuggets at all times. It's practically across from Total Wine (for planning purposes).

By the way, if you are flying out of ONT, I'd hit Ritual on the way instead of Hangar 24... but that's just one persons opinion.

Hamilton Family Brewing is right up the street from Ontario.

Go there, fill up on sour crowlers. Have fun in the desert. :grinning:

Sour Cellers and Kings are also just north of Ontario Airport.

Ironically, there's a bar named Bar in Palm Springs that is decent. Also Bristol Farms out that way has decent beer.

I just BYOB from LA, most times.

I went to the university of Redlands so it's always fun to go back and visit my old haunts!
