I went to the Millvale Brew fest a number of years ago. It wasnt terrible. Nice location in the park down by the river. When I went though it was like $35-40. A little more reasonable than $50:grimacing:, unless you think you can get your moneys worth out of it. Food was so-so. Picnic style, nothing none of us have had before a countless other cookouts.

I've been to the Millvale one the year I moved here to acquaint myself with the breweries. I enjoyed it. Though my wife was very hungover and kinda sucked some of the fun out of it.

Anyone try the #quadfather yet? Is it a beer that will age well? Thinking of making the trek out to Homestead today.

Can't comment on the aging, but I liked it. Chocolate, cherry and plums. I am happy to see these hashtags coming out again.

I really liked the new Rutherford saison from @brewgentlemen. Looking forward to the bretted version as I think it is a nice fit for the flavor profile.

Is "Rutherford" a joke about how hazy it is?

That's actually pretty funny if true.

Im looking forward to trying this cherry version of quadfather and I fully intend on drinking some immediately and laying some down to see how they age. The base beer was good albeit a little boozy so I certainly can see it mellowing out and the flavors integrating nicely with some time in the bottle.

Having said that... just know that the cherry flavor will likely fade a bit so if you wanna soak it up in all its fruited glory, hit it sooner rather than later.

    $50/ticket probably won't warrant my wallet's contents
I submitted a volunteer application a while back, but never received an e-mail.

No, but that is goddamn hilarious. Rutherford was the name of our company's old war horse, a 2001 Ford Ranger.

    I'd comment on #quadfather but I'm a homer so.....

I'll comment anyways. I thought it was a really nice balance and perfect amount of cherry. Anymore would have been too much I think
