I'm an idiot... totally forgot about Two Hearted and Hopslam. Now I don't know... It's time to go to bed!

Agreed. I had the opportunity to try a '10 vintage earlier this year and it's one of the best non-barrel aged stouts I've had.

Why choose one when you can have them all? For every perfectly crafted beer there's a guy who's sick of drinking it.

Founders over bells for the kill and the legacy.

Bell's. I think Bell's is the better brewer, although it seems that Founders does release more in the way of seasonals and limited release beers that are consistently solid.

Important to note that Bell's also brews a couple of lagers, whereas Founders does not (with the exception of that upcoming IPL Backstage release).

Two Hearted Ale is probably my favorite beer of all time. For that, I have to go with Bell's. Founder's is right there though.

I have seen only 1 lager from Bells great lakes bullshit lager for about 45$ I won't pull the trigger this year.

I guess I was thinking mostly of Quinnanan Falls Lager and Consecrator Doppelbock, but I thought they had some brewpub exclusives that were lagers, too. Could be wrong. I'd imagine @kzoobrew will have something to say about this.

I suppose Founders gets my vote because I'm a sucker for FBS, and they always seem to be up to something.
    But,
    Viva la difference.

Founders. I've been continually let down, even with their big guys like Black Note and The Oracle. Might be an expectations things, but I STILL cannot wrap my head around the obsession with Oberon around here, not being a Michigan native.

Bell's is a shrine to mediocrity. Founders takes this easily.

Bells. More diversified portfolio of beers. Solid year round everyday beers and chase worthy seasonals

Bell's > Founders. Founders has slowly lost it's place in my top 10 favorite breweries. My buddy bought a 6 pack of centennial and it had sat on the shelf for 150 days so he tweeted them to tell them they had a bad product on the shelf and they responded that it has a shelf life of 180 days. Sorry Founders, no good.

Founders just barely. I like BN better KBS but I drink a broader line up from founders.

Tough call, but I have to go Founders... As a Scotch Ale lover, the availability and price of Dirty Bastard puts Founders over the top...

I'd love to find out. As it is, Bells still hasn't moved south yet. Good thing I have Founders in the meantime.

Just from the standpoint of which one I drink the most of, I'd have to go with Founders. It seems that I seek out more by them and look forward to their releases. Outside of brewery-only releases, Bell's doesn't really do a lot of "special release" beers outside of Hopslam and Black Note (both of which I truly love). This isn't an easy decision given how much I love, and keep in the fridge, Two Hearted.
