    I always wonder the same thing about strong bourbon barrel beers. Why not just have a boilermaker?

    Rum Barrel Black Tuesday is easily my favorite! Pirate Bomb! (as many others have stated) is also very good!

    Rum barrel aged beers that I have had are excellent----yet to have a bad one. Bourbon is often too hot and too grain laden to impart the sweet nature of the spirits. I actually mentioned it in another thread to Goose Islands brewer and they make it, yet it seems to sadly not have been bottled...I suggest a meager nudge to the brewer.

    Might I suggest an email barrage.....it is a great idea!

    Agreed. I have always had to order this online but I was lucky to find a few bottles on the shelf at a local. Will be popping one open very soon.
