Short's Brewing (2021)

Someone mention Batch 12000?
No sign of Super Delicious yet, but looks like this will be the first release of 2021.

 

Absolutely love the “Batch” series, especially 5K. Hated to see that one drop out of the Hoppy packs after a couple appearances.

Don’t see an ABV for this one, but based on its predecessors, I’m not sure I need the extra 4 oz!

 

Hope this makes it to the west side of the state, looks very interesting.

 

Releases are not starting to pick up!

Still no Super Delicious Stout, but a damn decent ale is on the way. This will be MI and IL only, get it while you can. Or don't. Or get some PB&J'ale'y. I'm going dry in January so at this point I'm just stocking up for later this year.

 

Kudos to Shorts for this.

A couple things of note, Short's Fans:


An announcement for the Super Delicious Stout, Extreme Beer Fest Edition® promises a release soon to the Michigan market. Funny enough, the company handling the shipping for the Virtual Beer Fest can't ship to Michigan so we have to wait for the Short's release.


Next, another Arcadia Ale is back after the releases of Whitsun and Jaw Jacker. Porter Rico makes its return:



If I had to name two Arcadia ales I'd like to see back off the top of my head it would be this one and Morning Nightcap, so I'm half pleased seeing this one available.

 

A few items found in the label approvals: two Private Staches and a potential release.

With Double Huma and now Double Soft Parade, I think it's time to start a campaign for Double Bellaire Brown.

Also, I started to think what the ABV on a Double Soft Parade would be. SP is officially listed at 7.5%, but I swear at one point it was north of 9%, and almost 12% when I first started drinking Short's brews. I'm probably wrong, but I've also heard from others I've talked to that SP at one point was a monster in the ABV department. Maybe when it was a part of the Imperial Series?

Anyone hear a word about batch 12000? I thought this would have hot distro a week or 2 ago.

 

They have it at Shorts Mart, maybe not hitting distribution?

 

That would be extremely disappointing, considering we also have Super Delicious yet to make it out in the wild as well. And Nitro Furry Buddy has dropped off the release schedule.

I've also decided to roll my Anni Party tickets forward till next year, so I'll see any of you guys who are going.
