Is the Raspe 375 ml? Assuming that's the case but can't seem to confirm that anywhere

Yes. Sizes were included in the package listing when the items were up.

This is just a grand scheme from Side Project to shift everyone into getting hooked on their Grisette

I'm pretty surprised that Members don't have to buy a package deal. Aren't they the people that would be buying all the non-allocated bottles anyway, not the guy in Florida or California? Seems silly to me.

what if I told you none of these packages have applied to members?

Most of the members are people who have been buying multiples of every release for years. Not Joe Smith from NV who never purchased anything from SP before COVID.

I wouldn't be shocked, but seems like a giant Fuck You to all the faithful/loyal local(ish)s that support SP and aren't members. Of course, making Tete both member only AND allowing members to buy cases of it was one of the largest Fuck You's I've ever seen a brewer do. It's still shocking to me that there hasn't been more backlash in this thread about that. It's insulting to anyone that's loyal and not a member, especially if you are local(ish) and have supported them ardently.

I'm not counting myself in this group, but still think it's pretty much ridiculously insulting.

LC members are supposed to be picked based on how much they have supported the brewery. If they support the brewery a lot, then they buy a lot of bottles, not just allocated bottles. If that's the case, members shouldn't be bothered by being forced to buy packages, just like the non-LC plebs.

What doesn't make sense about that? Members still get like $10k+ of secondary-value beer that non-LC members don't get. It's not like it should be something to bitch about since they drink it anyway. Right?

Except basically everybody local who wanted into LC this year was let in. I can only think of one person who isn’t in that had any interest, and that’s because he never put himself on the waitlist.

I’m a local who’s not a member and has bought a significant amount of SP beer recently and in the past, and honestly they are releasing so much good beer right now that it just seems silly to get upset about not being able to buy one specific bottle. I intentionally sat out BAAmb this morning just to give my wallet a rest.

Sure seems true by the amount of people I know that got in.

Not to mention all the not subtle humble bragging on local FB groups when invites when out.

You realize that after LC purchases, there was less than 400 bottles of Tete, so its not like every member bought "cases". I was surprised at the fact that it was La Coterie with no limit, but to make it sound like everyone in LC is sitting on a case of Tete is patently false.

I'm not upset that I didn't get a bottle - I didn't even try. I don't have the funds right now anyway. It just seems silly to me that LC, which gives members the ability to buy more/better bottles than any other membership I've ever heard of, wouldn't ask their members - who are both die hard for the beer, and self described as buying everything - to buy packages, just like non-members. I just don't get it. You're already rewarding them with ridiculous beers. What's the motivation to not require this?
