So Silver City is apparently expanding distribution to central and eastern Washington (I received an official email from them).
Very early on they were one of my favorite local brewers. I still love Fat Bastard, and wish they would make La Fat again.
They made Le Fat again recently. It was in 500ml bottles instead of the old 750s they did in the past.
uhhhhh... malty? Hop-free and proud of it? Actually I wrote it up as "Warm and mouth-filling, a cute butterball sort of brew that goes down easy."
Seems to have already been the case for a few months in Spokane, initially at TW, and now in a few other places. Me loves me some Fat!
Aren't those the ladies of Bremerton, these days? Being a major naval port, I'd expect different sorts of ladies.
I think Silver City is one of those underrated breweries here in the greater "Seattle Area". Their Cold One Pils is pretty damn good and they have a solid IPA line up. I really like their Ziggy Zoggy Summer Lager as well. Haven't tried the Deluxe Malt Liquor yet. Sounds interesting.
Is the Deluxe malt liquor the same, or different, as this one: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/959/44542/ ?
Have your salt shaker ready. Silver City just posted an event on FB, Ziggy Zoggy Returns, cans of ZZ for $1 each, tomorrow (4/1), at the brewery. On premise only. https://www.facebook.com/events/1708779742739335/
Good question, I somehow missed this one. The new version, six years later, has a little different ABV (6.2), new name as part of the 20th Anniversary hoopla. And it sounds so similar to the "Deluxe Spring Lager" which someone listed as an American Adjunct Lager in 2012. Any opinions?
