Okay I'm new to this so let me know if I'm doing it wrong! I'm trying to get my hands on some cans of Astral Priest IPA from Soundgrowler Brewing Co out of Tinley Park, IL...I LOVE the guy that did the artwork for the can and am curious about the beer itself. I'm in Denver, CO!
Yes, the trading forum you need. Good luck. https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/how-to-get-started-with-trading.353318/
Ahh thanks for the help guys, I totally thought that's where I was already posting this to Moving to the next step, thanks again!
I think we have too many breweries if I'm finding out about one in Tinley Park from people in Denver....
Funny thing. Only reason I know about it is a buddy who knows I'm a big metal and craft beer fan sent me something about their opening. Still haven't made it there nor tried their beer even though I'm in the south burbs pretty regularly. They're on my short list. Parenting be hard on hobbies.
Beer is doable. I've not had anything offensive or with off flavors but haven't been blown away by anything yet either. Certainly a place I don't mind visiting and I expect they'll get better over time.
Hey guys! Thanks again for all of the help - I found someone through a mutual band we like (Billy Strings) that lives in the area. She stopped by last night and grabbed me a couple of packs. Mission accomplished!!! One happy girl over here
The beers are pretty good. I got there on a Sunday afternoon early enough to make the last hour of its brunch. If you are going to ride the train there, I recommend doing it when there is good weather. The path from the Rock Island Tinley Park - 80th Ave. train station to it has a long walk along a high-traffic road {80th Ave. - doh} with no sidewalks.
