Not sure if I just noticed, but it is definitely updated. The stone beer finder now lets you click on a specific beer that a store carries, and it actually tells you how long ago it was delivered. Saves so much effort in finding the freshest in your town. Just used it to find some regular ipa which I frequently see sitting for a bit, even in smaller towns in CA,(just some with a enjoy by date of July last week in Frazier Park).. and it was totally accurate, got some about 3 weeks old. Can't wait to have one at lunch. Do you guys know any other breweries that have information this detailed on thier inventory? Thanks Greg and Stone. Always raising the bar in my opinion.

While I love Stone and appreciate they are the only Brewery (I know of) going through this kind of effort, this is overkill IMO.
Just bought a sixer of Ruination 2.0 that had a bottling date and an enjoy by date on it. Do we really need a date of delivery also? If it was bottled 2 weeks ago, who cares when it was delivered? (Rhetorical question).

I think this tool is helpful in knowing when to go to a store for a beer and which store to go to.

Another scenario for those who can't get it two weeks after being bottled. If it was bottled four weeks ago and was delivered to a store yesterday, the distributor hung onto it for four weeks. Yes, I do care when it was delivered.

hahhah. people hate on breweries for not bottle dating. and people now hate on breweries for bottle dating AND telling you when beer gets delivered and making sure you drink it fresh. this is too good!

in other news the entire website is updated and its beautiful!

Appreciate the effort by Stone, but it would have truly been a breakthrough if they'd been able to provide the bottled-on/enjoy-by dates of the delivered allotment online as well. Now THAT would be a real time saver. As it is, there's still no guarantee of fresh beer. That's because knowing how long ago a beer was delivered to a store doesn't tell you how long it may have been sitting in a distributor's warehouse prior to delivery. You still need to go to the store and look at the bottled-on date to ascertain freshness.

I find this kind of cool. Especially since after checking a few places by me, the last delivery was 2 months ago..

If a retailer is storing the beer at room temperature, it matters a great deal how much of the time since bottling was spent at a cold distribution center. In such situations, knowing how long the beer was kept cold can be as or more informative as the bottling date.

FIFO, First In First Out. they could have 2 bottles on the shelves for 6 weeks and then get a new stock of it. it doesnt mean the bottles you will be picking will be the freshest.

On a kinda-related note, I just bought a bottle of Arrogant Bastard yesterday and noticed that it didn't say 'Stone' anywhere on the bottle, but it said 'Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co.'. How long has this been going on?

I also noticed on their website when looking at their merchandise shop...there are two different shops one for each.

Great feature by Stone. The more information a consumer can have the better imo. Does it provide earth shattering information? No, but I think it's nice to have & hope it catches on with other breweries.

Greg and Co. have been at the tip of the spear since day one. This is no surprise. Keep it large, Stone.
