So this is about to drop. Does anyone have info on variants for 2016?

Odd years for odd beers, no variants this year. I mixed the espresso with the chai, it was pretty good.

I actually still have one bottle of the espresso that I have not gotten around to drinking. Stone had it at Savor in NYC in 2013, Greg was there, cool talking to him and hammering espresso and Enjoy By.

Damn I'm quite jealous. I'm sure it has aged gracefully.

Is there a better deal than Stone IRS? Some of my local stores have had it in the past for $6.99. It's a steal.

They are well priced. I'd also put in a vote for AleSmith Speedway Stout. Regularly available, priced as low as $10.99, and delicious!

would love to see the Espresso make a return!
was lucky enough to have it on tap at the Stone store in Pasadena in late 2013..and bought as many bottles as I could when i came back east...still have a few..soooo freaking good!

I bought two bottles of the Espresso version. One spontaneously exploded, but I still have the other. Hopefully the coffee hasn't faded too much. I also have a bottle of the Belgo-Anise version (2011?). Anyone have any thoughts on that variant?

I think Founders Imperial Stout is a better deal at 11.99/4-pack...better beer (IMO), more bang for the buck.

I still love Stone IRS - but last year it was 9.99 around here.

$.50/oz is not a good deal. Double the price of breakfast stout...certainly not double the quality.

Speedway is 25oz, and yes it is.
