Love Saisons and was not much of a fan. It was "ok"...but nothing to write home about.

I brew a saison with lemon zest and grains of paradise. Out of all the beers I brew, it's my favorite. It's not exactly faithful to the style as it has a fairly high ABV, but everybody seems to really like it. I suspect the Stone may be similar. I'm looking forward to trying it.

Had this last night, it was solid, not great.

Of the "new" Saisons released this spring, I prefer Anchor's.

Haven't had it yet (though I plan to). But, after having Cali-Belgique a few days ago (hint: it wasn't good), I officially have no faith in Stone pulling a saison off properly.

Since you're in PA I'll point out that Tired Hands makes amazing saisons like nobody's business... I thought Single Hop - Galaxy was a bit hoppier and more bitter than a saison should be, and EWBANH was a lot more coffee than it was saison, but both were awesome, just a bit off the style; SaisonHands and Beautiful Crystalline Structure on the other hand are just flat out amazing.

I thought it was pretty decent all things considering. I'd drink a couple of these on a hot day during a cookout.

I had my first one tonight. I thought is was a good example of a saison. Nothing earth shattering, but tasty, definitely peppery in the finish. Refreshingly on the low side of abv for American saisons these days.

It's a beer that need to be paired with food in my opinion. The herbs were all grown at Stone farms in SD which is pretty awesome and overall the botanicals are fairly strong.
