Pretty much anything from Hidden River. My most recent was Malleable Lens NEIPA and it was excellent.

 

Hard not to give them a Spotted Cow from New Glarus. Of course there are many other New Glarus beers as well.

 

Depends on their tastes in beer.

Hopheads? Georgetown Bodhizafa.

Wild ales? Something from Garden Path.

Lagers? Chuckanut Pilsner.

BA Stouts? Fremont.

 

Your scenario is harder than I thought at first. I'm torn between Pliny and Like Riding A Bike (west coast ipa) from Urban Roots. I still think lean malt ipas that are loaded with late addition aroma hops laid over a nice bitter finish.

But when I just read the title, Oyster Stout from HenHouse! That's the beer I would share with a friend from BA. It's a style that is under appreciated, well suited to my region where oyster production is an economic industry and where these drier stouts lend themselves well to the shoulder seasons all the way through our mild winters.

Plus, that shits super good!

So many ways to go, as some people have noted. Given its awards and fairly broad appeal in its style, I'd go with Optimal Wit from Port City. Hardywood's Gingerbread Stout and Ocelot Talking Backwards would be other conditional options (honorable mention to Alewekrs BBP).
