Summit Unchained 19: Make It So

They've been on a roll lately in my book. Unchained 17 and 18 were delicious as was Union 3. Really not sure what to expect from an ESB infused with tea but I'll give it a shot.

 

Union 3 was a wonderful summer ale.

And I agree they have been on a roll with their Union and Unchained series.

Union #4 was splendid, but they made too little of it... it disappeared very quickly. Maybe that inspired the choice to go with another "sort of" traditional English ale? I'm glad this one will be in the Unchained instead of Union... Unchained seems to be brewed in larger batches than Union. Regardless, I will for sure give this one a try.

 

What the what, I never even heard about or saw Union #4! What was it?

Released last fall, and was not the liquor store shelves for, oh, a week or so...

You'll find it discussed in a few other threads, too.

 

That was a great one. I wouldn't mind if they brought it back.

 

My bad, I knew about that one. Got my numbers mixed up!

I wonder how it's holding up. It was so delicious when it was fresh. It was my favorite beer to pair with food when it was out.

 

I liked a lot as well. Wish I had kept a six pack for the cellar. And by cellar, I mean damp musty basement/asbestos museum.
