Keep tabs on these guys because they are the hot new brewery in Milwaukee; if you've been there you know and if you haven't been there, get there soon!

They started a Cellar Society for 2024 with the following benefits:
    • Quarterly release of member-only bottles, not available to the public
    • Members receive two bottles of five different beers (right to purchase more if volume allows)
    • Cellar Society private tasting in October
    • Two 13oz stemless tasting glasses
    • 6 bottle bag for pickups
    • Invitation to the Annual Cellar Society Private Tasting and Magnum Raffle in October
    • Cost was $125
First release was on 1/20 and was an Unblended Farmhouse Ale aged 3 years in French Oak and early reviews on Untappd are pretty good (4.4/5.0). It was a no brainer for me to join and look forward to all these beers.

Isn’t that redundant? Shouldn’t it just read “Farmhouse Ale.” It’s like advertising a “Fishless Mocha Latte” or a “Non-Diet Coke”.

Finally came across a bottle of Many Phases sitting on the shelf at Ray's. Every time I've tried to buy it during one of their onsales I somehow always miss it.

They allow barrels to slowly ferment to become part of their long lead inventory for 6, 9, 12 and 18 months that become blending components for beers down the road. This beer (Single Barrel 006) was filled in December 2020 and sat through 2021 and 2022 and was never used in a blend because it did not have that wow factor. 3 years in during another random nail pull the beer blossomed into a deeply complex beer and that is what was bottled.

That is probably my favourite regularly produced beer of theirs (every blend seems to be better than the last). You may have to check back a little after the initial sale as I think sometime it is restocked. The current blend (Blend 5) has been available on their website for at least the last month and they had plenty in the cooler when I was there a couple weeks back.

Pretty solid place actually. Was there a couple months back and even though they serve many of my non preferred styles, I wasn’t minding what I was drinking at all. Most of what I tried was really good but just not my style.

I just experienced Mob Craft Brewery, Radix Fermentation, and Supermoon Beer Company The Frightener Brett-conditioned Belgian-style quad. It was really good. I have held off on visiting this brewery so far, with all the other options around town, but I think I need to visit there soon.

Supermoon collab happening at solemn oath. Belgian Pale Ale named Green of Hope came out recently, and other, funkier versions will be released in the future

I made my first trip to Supermoon yesterday. All of the.Saisons on tap were top-notch. I was very fond of the small storefront they use for their shop. Definitely worth a visit while in Milwaukee.

Bachelor party this weekend. Supermoon is a priority. The Airbnb is up near Lake Park. If anybody knows the area well, be my guide. Is there a must see brewery in that part of town? I see central waters is kind of on the way back to the Airbnb…

After Supermoon, make a stop at 1840 Brewing. It's about a mile straight north and a must-visit. If you're still in that area in the late afternoon and want to mix in some cocktails, Bryant's cocktail lounge is a little bit further north. You'll then be in the hub for amazing Mexican food. I like Conjitos Place since it's a dive. If you went there, it's right door to Mobcraft Brewing and also Great Lakes Distillery. The distillery makes an insane gin and tonic. If you're still coherent, Central Waters is of course a must-visit. I don't think they'll have any of their Anniversary stouts there, but it's worth a shot. Definitely don't miss Eagle Park. They'll probably still have cans of Stave to-go. That's (in my opinion) the best BA stout that Wisconsin has to offer. Eagle Park is right by Lakefront Brewing. They're not necessarily top-tier craft beer, but it's a beautiful place. They'll probably have some special taproom-only stuff there. Their brewery tour is always rated one of the best in the country.

Excellent, this helps. I’ve heard fantastic things from 1840 and see who they’ve collabed with. Will make a point to get there as well. Thanks for the response.

PS I’ll always sing praises for lakefront. An under appreciated pillar of Wisconsin craft beer. And it’s one of the a rare brewery tours I actually recommend to friends. (Lakefront and Dovetail) Lakefront also has a super sneaky barrel program. The memory of Beerline Organic Barleywine lives in my memory nearly a decade later

If you can only make one stop besides Supermoon then I agree it has to be 1840. Don't sleep on the lagers if you're into crispy bois they have any available.

1840 a nice little wheat lager, and fantastic brett saison. Supermoon is the coolest little taproom, and Saison Bay View is phenomenal off the side pull.
