Mainly directed at a mod or admin @Todd but I was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with being alerted when you are tagged in a post? I understand you have to spend a lot of time on BA to figure it out but there are a few of us that do just that I've randomly come across 3-4 posts where I am clearly tagged but never received an alert. I believe all my preferences are set correctly and I haven't changed them in over a year. I've just noticed this over the past few days. Oddly, I'm still alerted when someone quotes me. I'm mainly concerned in case I'm called out as a bad trader or something. How will I know to defend myself?
I had this happen to me recently also. Good thing I read a lot of things here and it was a good tag. No idea.
Not only do you want to know if something bad was said about you as @cfh64 said(did that work lol?),but you also want to able to thank someone for saying something good too.
I've pointed this out before, although I don't know if it applies to your situation over the last few days. @Todd has said that only the first 5 "tags" in a post will get an alert. So if someone tags an entire list of people in a single post, after the first five they simply won't work. I know I haven't gotten an alert a few times I've been tagged due to this limitation.
Yeah,I don't know him personally but I know he's well respected around here. I'd imagine a dozen or so people would be quick to defend him if he was outed as a bad trader.

Ok, I had no idea that only the first 5 users tagged in a post by one user are alerted. So if I'm the 6th, I guess I don't get an alert. That would explain it. Thanks.
Not to act like I didn't read the thread and investigate my settings, but I was strolling through the ISO FT forum today and came across a post I was tagged in however didn't receive an alert. All my settings are to give alerts on the website when I am tagged, as well as an email notification. I receive alerts for watched threads, posts, and emails for messages, but no mention of tags. I am the only tag in the post (link for reference below), but yet no alert. Is this an issue for anyone else (still) in the thread?
