Now that my Colorado trip is over, time to announce the winner of my LIF. I ended up checking in 54 unique beers during the trip. With a guess of 56, @NickyPogs is the winner!

#VHS @treznor's very large box is on top. On top of a Belgium in a Box order that dwarfed it, this is like that picture of Shaq standing next to Dwayne Johnson... Obviously The Rock is not a small guy, but next to Shaq you'd never know it.

As soon as I started unpacking it though, Mike's box no longer seemed small in any way. This is my end of a semi-blind trade we did:
Westbrook Gose x3 - I had my last recently, glad to be re-upped
NoDa Hop Drop n Roll - Haven't had this one in a while, will be nice to revisit
Cantillon Gueuze - Mike was generous enough to bring a bottle back for me from his trip to Belgium
Olde Hickory Event Horizon - I keep hearing how great this is, I enjoyed the hell out of Lindley Park and most people seem to prefer this one...
Olde Hickory Omega Point x2 - The original reason for the trade, this looked amazing and I had to pounce on it
Foothill's People's BBL Aged Porter - I loved the base, looking forward to the BA version
Wicked Weed Oblivion - Another Want I'm looking forward to trying

So jam-packed with deliciousness, thanks Mike!

ps - If anyone is interested in the BIAB pron, I'm trying to avoid cross-posting but it's over in SWTFYW.

Damn Colorado roads. I will make this right. I assume your Casey glass survived?

Burn me at the stake, bit I think Sculpin in general is overrated. It's good, but not on the pedestal people put it on.

I agree with this 100%. Grapefruit Sculpin was good. I like it. I remember the first time I had regular Sculpin I was super excited - a 98 to a 100 on BA - wow! Sorely disappointed. It's good, but I gave it way too high a rating at the time.

Habanero Sculpin is gross and suitable only for cooking purposes.

Can't blame the roads for this one, just my butter fingers (dropped the bag it was in). Also, that Crooked Stave glass is super thin.

The Casey glass made it back to Texas in great shape!

As crazy as it sounds, Foothills People's Porter is like $5/bomber and BBL Aged People's Porter is like $7/bottle. That is some ridiculousness right there. Also, I MUCH prefer Event Horizon to Lindley Park. And Omega Point is better than either.

I don't go crazy for it, but Grapefruit Sculpin, NoDa NoDajito (which gets horrible ratings on here), and any Gose I can lay my hands on have been my go to beers of summer so far.

You have no idea... Just for some background, I have had a shitty week. Downright fuck awful. *earmuffs Erika*

My wife's car decided to shit a transmission on Monday. It is under warranty and we carpool to work, so it could be worse. But, it was diagnosed and the part ordered Monday night. I checked on the status today hoping we'd be getting it back tomorrow... Yeah, no idea when that part will arrive.

Doesn't sound too bad, right? Wouldn't be, except I am leaving ass-crack early Saturday morning for a 7 hour drive to NC. My wife is unable to drive my older, stick shift car. I have neglected it a bit, as well, because it hasn't been moving much. Yay! Paying for a rental, now.

All of the last minute prep you do for a week's vacation? Haven't done a God damn bit of it, yet. Haven't made it home from work before 7:45 yet this week.

But, tonight I had a generous box of beer(& stickers. lots of stickers). It was a ray of sunshine through the gloom.

Thanks Jason! Your porch wrinkler was more appreciated than you would have guessed....

There are 2 Hopstache and 2 Citra Pales there. As always, a nice selection of MI goodness. Wants, should be wants, and new ticks!

And the whole reason Jason sent me beer...

Just an excuse to decorate my beer fridge!

    THANKS SO MUCH.

What part of NC? This time of year I figure most are heading to OBX or Emerald Isle or something (stay out of the damn water!), but if its somewhere in western NC let me know!

Really hoping your week starts to look up!

Crazy day but I got a chance to stop by Pizza Boy and meet up with @PA-Michigander and @UcDru, Drew was nice enough to buy a glass of Wootstout 3.0 for everyone to try:

Couldn't hang out too long and had to run, of course Nick caught up to me in the parking lot and gave me a bag-o-beers:

Tired as hell but I have one more 12 Days beer to power through, plus a I bought a few Crowlers (and @PA-Michigander bought one as well) that need to be packed up headed out to @vitaminvert tomorrow so we can get this shotgun challenge taken care of next week.

Yeah, unfortunately I can get to Jacksonville (FL, so three states away) faster than I can get to parts of OBX. Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Savannah, Wilmington are all MUCH closer, so I haven't been to OBX in decades. Hell, based on your statement, your drive is probably only going to be 30-45 minutes longer than it would take me to get to OBX.

You guys need to take a page out of my LIF guessing play book! I am gifted with this ability. I really wish we kept tallies because I'm whoopin' some ass. Ajay, you just sent my a box so I'm gonna ninja this on. Not that I wouldn't love some more Texas brews but I just play to win. And by winning I mean sharing beers that you're gracious enough to share. (bm coming)
