Just curious what the ammo you were thinking was adequate? SHBRL trades really high and I'm always looking for more.

It'd be a combo from my cellar. I actually didn't jump on the 2x hommage for SHBRL like an idiot.

Wow, I would have done that in a second if I saw it. I've traded MUCH more for SHBRL.

BRL really does not trade reasonably unless it is one to one for similar rare lambic in my experience. It is amazing however.

well if its 12 its not much of a bargain but 24 now I could live with that. dust is no problem, its the shipping that is an issue.
Is this legal? how can you buy from distro, unless your a store?

Go to the trading forums and do a little reading regarding legality and the how-to's of trading. In Pennsylvania we have weird liquor laws, and there are two ways to buy beer: a) From a bar or deli, where you can buy single bottles or sixpacks, with a maximum of 192 TOTAL ounces. or b) from a "beer distributor" where you can buy cases (typically 24 bottles/12 bombers) but not six packs or single bottles, and there is no total volume limit.

There is some flexibility in this, as some distributors will sell single bottles of certain things, and some deli/bar locations (also including some grocery stores now, a recent development) are pretty lax about the 192oz limit, but the pricepoint at a bar is basically bar prices, whereas at a distributor you are stuck buying an entire case at a time. Based on state taxes, beer is also more expensive in PA than in almost any other state (generally speaking, we have some deals now and then)

I don't know if I have a "white whale" actually, I've had a very, very good year from a "got to try XXX" perspective. I would REALLY love a bottle of JD BA Mexican Cake though.

Most of the beers that people would consider whales, I would never consider parting with what they require.

KBBS, Morning Delight, and loerik. The first two might be obtainable but the loerik is something I'll probably never see.
