It was probably the best beer Deschutes made in 2015, though I'm holding judgement until I have this year's Abyss.
Mirror Mirror took a 5 year hiatus from 09-2014. I havent seen anything on the 2015 release but I hope it is coming back in and not going on another 5 year hiatus which I assumed it would be. Great beer and the nice thing is the 2014 is still pretty easy to find on shelves perfectly aged now too. Bottled/kegged vintages: 2005 - Released February 2006 2009 - Released April 2009 2014 - Released April 2014 http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/63/49472/
From what I can tell and have seen in bottle shops the 15 has not been released. It is no longer listed in the reserve series section on their website. Im guessing based on history we will see it again around 2019. Glad I have a few on hand to carry me over a couple years. Might have to get at least one more to do a side by side with the next release.
Am I the only one that thought mirror mirror was average to just below average for the style? I can't be right, a year later I can't walk into a liquor store without seeing bottles lined up on the shelf
Thats the beauty of Mirror Mirror it is a very solid beer albeit not the best of its style but it stays off the hype radar and easy to obtain.
