Hi all It's been a long while since I've traded and it seems some rules have changed so I thought best to check... A lifestyle change no longer allows me to indulge in big bad beers and I'm interested in trading a few of my cellared beers for some local brewery shirts from around the country. Is this allowed or shunned upon? If all good, what's the most appropriate forum to post to? Thanks!

Hmmm seems like a rock and a hard spot? Would it be allowed to trade beer + breweriana for beer + breweriana? Say OP wants to trade some cellar beer + a brewery patch/sticker for a single bottle of shelf beer + a shit load of swag?
In the current environment, not as an ISO. If you guys really want this option, I suggest posting in the site help forum and asking for a "feature request": http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/forums/site.66/ That said, I've asked the powers that be about this multiple times and there does not seem to be a willingness to change the status quo. Just letting you know. Alternately, take your discussions to BM and off the forums.
