I'm going on vacation next week and was thinking about taking a trip to Trillium. Was wondering what is a good time to go? Also any other recommendations of places to visit.

I only go on Fridays but noon and 230 on Friday seems to be pretty quick for me. In and out with growler fills and a taste within 15 minutes.

Check out night shift. Also publick house, lord hobo, row 34, and Christopher's in Cambridge have good tap lists. That's all either in or around boston.

It's kind of a pain to get to if you're not familiar with the city, but Deep Ellum and Lone Star are worth a stop. My move is usually tacos and a beer or 2 at Lone Star and then roll over to Deep Ellum for more beers and cocktaills. Deep Ellum has the better tap list (update online daily) and one of the best cocktail lists in the area. It does get busy though. Sunset isn't far from there either, if you're interested in a 100 tap kinda place.

Thanks that's some good info. I have been to Jacks Abby enough times that I have almost filled my first growler card, and I live with-in walking distance of a bar with 80 taps so a 100 is right up my ally. Does trillium just fill there own growlers I thought I read the fill all, also whats the limit?

Don't think there is any limit on growlers right now. Website says they still have the case limit on bottles. You have to buy their growlers - it's $5 for either size.

No limit on growlers at Trillium but they do limit amounts on some beers (Galaxy Fort Point with a 1 gallon limit right now). You can get in and out in reasonable time most anytime. I was there at 4 tonight for the second round of Galaxy Fort Point and filled 3 growlers and grabbed a case in less than 1/2 an hour..
