As others have already said the brewpub is awesome. I'm sure you want to go to the brewery for the tour and experience but the brewpub is where the best beers are. Also Burley Oak is definitely worth the stop depending on which way you decide to travel.

I will also second those who mentioned Pig and Fish, Pickled Pig Pub (same owners as Pig and Fish) and the Henlopen Oyster House. All 3 have great happy hours and beer.

I would second Burley Oak or Misspillion. Another one not mentioned yet is 3rd wave in Delmar. This is basically Salisbury. I have never been to their brewery, but I do enjoy their offerings.

Definitely check out the brewpub. I had the chance to try Palo Santo Marron in its infancy there before bottling, and Bitches Brew under a different name, also before bottling. Try your luck.

If you are staying in Woodbridge then you really need to check out both Ocelot & Aslin. Hit Ocelot first (take Rt. 50) then from there Aslin (taking the Greenway & Dulles tollroad) they are a few miles apart. I did that this past weekend, great beer!

Aren't there a couple of new breweries nearby? I know there is one on rt1 a bit north of Rehoboth, and there's also Crooked Hammock in Lewes. Not sure if they're any good, however. It's been a few years since I've been down there.

Misspillion is nowhere near Dogfish Head. .......just saying.

The brewpub is not a fancy restaurant but it has great and interesting pub food. We eat there several times every summer when we visit for vacation.

There is also a Fin's on Rehoboth Avenue a block or so down from DFH brewpub, other side of the street.

The Fin's in Rehoboth is the original location. A little smaller. The one on the highway is next to their production brewery.

    Crust and Craft:

It is in the old Casa Di Leo North location off of Midway plaza on Rt. 1.

Ok this is random. I have a friend who really wants me to pick him up a bottle of 120 IPA, as he has never had it. Does anyone know how much it is at the brewery?

I doubt they have any left at the brewery. I was there a week after the last release and they didn't have any by the time I got there. There may be some floating around bottle shops on your route, and there's a chance they'll have some at the brewpub mentioned in this thread.

I've got some that I can trade if you can't find any.

it's about $10 if you can find a bottle locally. Not sure as last release was November, next one not until April.

When you say nowhere, you mean 30 minutes is nowhere nearby??

I went to both in the same day. And I'd 10000000% recommend Mispillion on the same day as Dogfish Head.

I know a lot of people who do not think 30 minutes is "nearby". I used to drive 30 minutes to a coffee shop because they had the best coffee within two hours drive. People would look at me like I had three heads.

I was going to say the same thing. Only my estimate is less than 20 minutes. Of course I do tend to drive fast.
