Hi, I’m in Seattle and looking for good DIPA that I can’t get in New England, preferably something I can buy in a can and drink at my relatives’ house. Any recommendations? Thanks! Mike
With all due respect, I think your best bet is to check out the "visiting seattle" thread in this forum, find the recommended beer store closest to wherever you're staying, go there, and ask the staff to recommend a good locally made dipa. If their recommendation turns out to be a beer you can obtain in NE (unlikely, but it could happen), ask them to make another recommendation.
Not a Scientist by Cloudburst Brewing is getting good reviews on untappd locally. It's one I'd like to find up here in the north end, but so far no luck. Unsure if you can find it in a bottle/can, but a growler is just as good, no?
Cloudburst doesn't can or bottle their beers, just crowlers at the taproom and whatever you find at other places around town.
Does it need to be a DIPA? What about an IPA? Mirage has Limo Tears, Groove Me, Life Trap and Fantasy Suite still available around Seattle right now, and they're pretty damn good.
