So my family and I will be visiting relatives in the Vero Beach area over Memorial Day weekend. I always see threads and recommendations about the usual FL suspects (Orlando, Tampa, St. Pete, Miami), but never Vero. The "Places" search doesn't offer much help, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for the area. I'll have a car so I can travel some. Mostly interested in bottle shops, bars and breweries that offer good FL selections. Thanks for any help.
I know there are some closer up there but am not familiar. You would really serve yourself to come down and hit craft beer city in Jupiter for bottles/growlers and hit civil society brewing for crowlers on your way back to 95. Tequesta brewing and twisted trunk also close and do some great beers.

Was in Vero and Ft Pierce this past March-April. I stopped by Orchid Island Brewing Co on the beach side of town. Solid beers, most with local citrus added for flavoring. Service was bad but beers pretty good. They also have guest taps that were solid. http://orchidislandbrewery.com/ Also, make it down to Ft. Pierce (about 20 minutes) and hit Sailfish Brewing Co. Again, solid beers and a cool outdoor area with cornhole and and things for the kids. Guest taps on as well. http://www.sailfishbrewingco.com/
Thanks for the shoutout @MHorridge as @SwillBilly said Orchid Island and Sailfish are solid young breweries. ABC liquor stores for bottles. Hurricane Wings for food and an OK tap list. Kilted Mermaid for a better list. Hit me up, I'll welcome you to Vero properly.
I think I hit up all of your recommendations when I visited a couple of years ago with the exception of Orchid Island (not open yet) and Kilted Mermaid (not open on the days I visited). I will definitely have to hit those ones the next time I visit my grandparents.
