Good morning BAs! Nice one from Wicked Weed.
Seems like a stout morning so far on the thread.
Good morning, all! It's a tabula rasa kind of day, with no work and nothing to do. What better way to begin than with a GI Fulton Street Blend? Shoot, I may just have a few more of these later. Hot and muggy weather, iced coffee ale - what could possibly go wrong?
Good morning BAs! It's starting out sunny here! Today's Breakfast beer:
Without the app, was hard to report in live time last night when we did some sampling and sharing:
Daisy Cutter, Pipeworks Ninja v Unicorn, Melvin IPA, Ecliptic Mango IPA (turbid), Block 15's Sticky Hands, Fort George 3 way IPA, you get the drift....a nice Midwest v PNW contrast. NvU and the Sticky Hands stood out for me, at least.
5.6% alcohol. Introduced in 1987. Brewed in Michigan.
Good morning all. Someone put some lemon in my coffee:
Coffee nose. Coffee, lemon rind and roasted cocoa nibs. An intriguing combination. Roasted coffee finish. Very slight warmth from the 9%. Bitter linger from the hops and the roast. I'll need to drink more to fully wrap my mind around this one. Cheers and have a great day!
Happy Tuesday indeed ba. Off for the rest of the week and I'm banging out some grunions to start,
Watching the pelicans eat their breakfast while I drink mine. Lots of very smooth coffee and vanilla. Tasty beer.
Have you tried using the BA web site with your phone browser? It's mobile friendly, and it has much more functionality than the app.
I do really like the new website. However, I do miss being able to easily search and rate beers with the app. I liked how when typing a name it starts bringing up options.
Combating the Summer heat with . . .
As described by the brewer, crisp and clean. Mild in appearance but solid in flavor, this could easily be a regular around our house. Hoppiness is sufficient for the type without being dominant, malt enough to provide flavor without too much sweetness, great balance overall.
Not a World beater, or even a classic, yet punches above it's weight.
A cold (and large) German pilsner.
I liked the fact that I found a glass big enough to hold my 16 oz beer, and it had flamingos on it to boot, but shut down the Glass of the Day contest because its over with this one.
Good Moring BA'ers! Starting things off with a share of Quinquenio from Abnormal today. Cheers!
That doesn't look like Ohio... nice hibiscus too. Coastal Carolina vacation?
We have really done some work on Lake Erie Gulf coast. Just below Clearwater in Madeira Beach
Brewery: Boneyard Beer (Bend, Oregon)
Yeah, wasn't getting good enough coverage yesterday through thunderstorms. Just because I'm a Luddite doesn't mean I don't think of the obvious.
anyway, still not a purist about the timing. It's about the beer, for me at least.
Splitting this tasty little coffee brew from Wolf's Ridge... Cheers!
crazy nice weather today.
From last night in Quebec City.
Thanks for the Parsonfield Intoduction !
Love that Hofbrau krug!
Lunch beer ba. Nice to see troegs re-up their ng distro,
W/ a burger w/ the works,
Hey BA's! A little after 12:30 here in hot, sunny NOVA & I'm currently putting the finishing touches on this:
I have yet to be let down by an Evil Twin Sour :-)
Likely I'll be back in a few minutes with another brew
As always- Drink up & drink on, my fellow advocates!
A wonderful brew!
Tuesday Lunch Share! Trullium/Evil Twin Dusk Trill Dawn. Cheers!
Alright BA's! As promised, back with another:
Stillwater Extra Dry, brewed with Sake rice. Extra Dry is an understatement, this bad boy is BRUT! The nose is a touch floral, but the palate possesses a potent earthy bitterness that still manages to be quite refreshing. I'm thoroughly enjoying it :-)
Like a lightly salted Arnold Palmer
Hola everyone... Now that I spent a good part of the day spouting off I think I will not have another opinion for at least two 'tree days. I hope. Cheers you all !
