    Some times you go straight to Pils to take the edge off the start of the work week.

    Starting to rain here, but it's like spring or summer rain showers, nothing like down south. Signs up here still warning against taking I95 South into NC.

    Finally Cellarmaker cans a non-hoppy beer, and its their flagship (if they have one): Coffee & Cigarettes. 9/11 canning. 7.7% Smoked Coffee Porter.

    Whenever they brew this guy, I look forward to having it ASAP, as it's crazy coffee forward. But that's a good and a bad thing. This batch - I'm not really liking the coffee blend used as much - it adds a slight acidity that clashes a little bit with the roasty notes.

    This for sure isn't my favorite batch of C&C, but I look forward to see how it changes over the next couple of weeks.
