Introducing Fresh Haze IPA, our newest IPA is hazy with a chance of obsession. The flavor explodes in your mouth with notes of orange citrus sweetness and a soft malt body. Carrying both citrus and tropical fruit from Mandarina, Amarillo and Simcoe hops…OJ for days.

12 oz. Can
Best By: 12/14/18

Poured into a Tree House glass a nice hazy orangy color, nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango), slight pine. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango), slight pine. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely. Overall, a tasty brew, nice thirst quencher.

(57 days old) Moderate haze, Thick head, good retention. Juicy, bready aroma. Orange and citrus flavor. Finishes dry with hardly any bitterness. Fresh tasting and easy drinking, but somewhat one-dimensional.

Look compared to fresh squeezed. Fresh Haze It's livelier

Smell more subtle Than fresh squeeze

Taste:
Milder than fresh squeeze heavier body and sweeter than fresh squeezed softer than fresh squeezed There's a banana flavor more peach more mango more sweet very little pine... This is a fruit juice cocktail

Mouth feel... Feel sweet heavy feels juicy feels tropical less citrus more banana more mango more apricot rounder

Overall....
Extremely drinkable careful it'll be gone

This is my go-to Hazy IPA. Better than 95% of others out there, especially considering they are a large brewery.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; a 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a thin tight collar; very nice lacing;

S: canned pineapple juice;

T: follows the nose from start to finish; mild bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: better than most NA beers;

Poured from a fresh 12oz can (mixpack) into a Pint glass, deep yellow haze, LARGE 2 finger head, great lacing to support it and so it sticks around.

> The front end is all Citrus (Mandarin Orange sweet) and a bunch of other fruit which does not have a lot of Hops to it really. It has a light/med body. It is a crisp, sweet (think: Juice Force) flavor which does not dissipate quickly. The flavor sticks around for a bit in your mouth. While not cloying, it is a bit too sweet for my palate.

If you are a fan of the Hazy style and really enjoy a Sweeter beer which does a great job at hiding the alcohol, then this could be your one. It is not bitter, really. It is more like a Citrus bomb.

I will give it higher marks because it succeeds in areas where other fruity IPA's often fail. It is a very well crafted beer and probably exactly what they were looking to achieve.

I'm laboring to be fair to a style that is not my favorite, though I have had ones that I've enjoyed immensely. I think its too citrusy/fruity, to sweet, and not hoppy enough for me to enjoy, or to really even call an IPA. My wife, who very much likes the style, says its good. So, for people who like citrusy/fruity hazes, maybe you'll like it. But if you want something more hop-forward, this isn't it.

12 oz 2024 can from an Ingles Market.

Appearance. Lightly hazy golden body with a very good white head.

Fruity citrus notes dominate the hop forward aroma. Good medium carbonation.

Flavor. Orange up front with a grapefruit finish. Near average bitterness for the style.
