Still sitting in a hotel. Walked to a gas station nearby and found some Moon Man, score! I’ll probably be changing locations tomorrow, I can’t wait to be home Thursday.

Thin Man Diplomatic Immunity. First review. Excellent NEIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky/resinous/rindy hop in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness; hop hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 7% or lingering hop burn after the finish. Great Mosaic and Simcoe. Very vibrant, juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. No complaints. 4.03

Happy to have this in NJ again. Another day, another day not leaving the house other than walking the dog. Crazy times indeed!

There were so many thoughts wrapped up in your post, I do not even know how to respond. I can say unequivocally, that if that is your girlfriend you are one lucky guy.

I have a theme tonight. Beer and amps.

But unfortunately the old Blackface is acting up. Making noise. A bit like me. I do think we may be waiting awhile before a long time at the local tech. Too bad. I love her.

I always say, if a Twin and a Les Paul was good enough for Steve Jones, it is good enough for me. Admittedly not playing a Les Paul in the clip, but who cares?

11.2 oz of glorius Weihenstephaner 1516 Kellierbier 5.6% ABV (so good I had two)!

Weihenstephaner is one of the oldest still active institutions in human history. Founded in 725 AD by Saint Corbinian and twelve others on Nahrberg Hill in Bavaria. This brewery has seen and survived everything including the Black Death, which killed 30% to 60% of Europe's entire population. It took over 200 years for Europe to regain the same population level as before the plague invaded Europe in 1347 AD.

This is a very good beer, and fresh despite the long passage from Europe (kept refrigerated since my purchase). I'm never disappointed when grabbing any Weihenstephaner beer. Also grabbed Superdawg which is still doing brisk business, especially their car hop service. Needed this after being knocked out by a single Half Acre DIPA Navaja earlier this afternoon, extending my nap 20 minutes beyond the standard 60 minutes.

Tomorrow is expected to be a nice warm day in Chicago, looking forward to it.
