I have a day off today, and found this locally.

Abyss 2012. Still tastes amazing, and I have to wonder how long would it take for it to fall off, 20 years, maybe?

Now I am on this that I picked up a few months back when I went to Iowa.

Whiskey Red - West O Beer - Red Ale - 7.8% ABV - Bottled on 3-17-2022

Dark Red pouring with a 2 finger off white head. The retention is quite good, and there's some lacing on the glass.
Aroma is a bit light. I get some malts here,
Flavor is quite complex, and I won't be able to do justice to it. I get some raisin and plum flavors here. I get some biscuit malts here. Caramel and smoke also comes in with a candy sweetness. There's also a slight bitterness that pokes its head in the mix.
The body feels a bit boozy for a 7.8% beer. It is full and rich.
My neighbors to the south can create great beers, and this is one of them. I wish I had another bottle of it.

This little ghost pepper fell off the plant from some wind gusts. Pretty!
