No negativity here! Just genuinely don't understand the appeal of drinking it straight. It's very refreshing at the start, but the very end is sharply acidic (in a bad way in my humble opinion). Kind of reminds me when you're sick off beer and you get a strong burn and acidic linger post hurl...

Shout out BC! My first time in Canada!

Bound for Dankness. I wish I could run like my brothers, @eppCOS & @Beersnake. I need to get focused & drink way less. Cheers, BA!!!

Brewing Projekt Hurricane Smoofee Fruited Sour, 8.43% ABV. Pours murky orange, slight head, no lacing, and the fruit quickly settled to the bottom. Aroma is vague fruit, taste follows, slightly sweet, slightly sour, moderately bitter. OK mouthfeel, overall OK. Not a fan.

This is my 100th Brewing Projekt review, and I sure didn't pick one to commemorate that. Never thought I'd have a Brewing Projekt sour that sucked. Now I have.

    From a 12oz can.

This beer pours pitch black in color. The head was tan in color and it had decent retention considering the ABV. There is no lacing on the glass.
Aroma is wow. Just an amazing mix of strawberries, chocolate, and lactose. Damn pleasing.
Taste - is delicious. I get all three flavors mentioned in the aroma here: chocolate, strawberry, and lactose. These 3 flavors just hit hard, and mix together great. There is more strawberry than the other 2,but all well represented.
Thick, smooth and creamy body. I am just getting the slightest burn in here. Way less than the ABV suggested.
Damn delicious treat. Very well made beer from this brewery.

...the dude at Weber Street Liquors (Colorado Springs) highly recommended it to me...he's more of a wine guy, so...anyway, not a bad beer (as I alluded to)...definitely unique in taste...very carrot-y and orange-ish...refreshing in the high temperatures, but I'd rather nurse a pilsner...I'm still intrigued to try his rye whiskey suggestion, though...
