    Good morning,
I continue on the line of the mere review of beers since the dialogue behind the keyboard lately is not enriching of anything, on the contrary.
    Too bad, I thought better.
Entire Brewing (Roma, ITA) - Resaka Brewing Tribe (Roma, ITA) presso STI MALTI (Francolise, Caserta, ITA) - MELLOW YELLOW - Hazy India Pale Ale (6,5%).

Beer that will never go on the database as it ' produced in collaboration between two local beer firms (from Roma) who brewed their recipe at the Birrificio Sti Malti, in the province of Caserta (Campania Region).
It's a 6.5% Hazy IPA hopped with Ekuanot, Citra, Mosaic and Idaho 7.
On the nose aromas of summer fruit: especially peach and plums (summer plums), also tropical fruit.
Poured it's a fairly cloudy blond (hazy), tending towards orange.
In the mouth, a medium-bodied beer, with a light veiled sensation that almost acts as a filter between the fragrant and invasive fruity flavors and the finish in which instead (finally) the right space is left for a nice citrus bitterness that does not remain indifferent on the tongue, leaving the fruity taste in the palate.
I mainly find the taste of peach (white pulp and yellow pulp), plums and in the background always sweet and tropical notes including a hint of coconut, as well as mango and papaya.
The fruity taste is followed by an almost absorbent sensation of the fruity taste which however is followed by a very noticeable citrus bitterness of grapefruit/orange peel with also a hint of herbaceousness which, in my opinion, makes the drink more complete. And also different, given the many proposals of many craft breweries that in this style of beer (and not only) focus everything on the aroma (fruity taste) followed by a sensation of silkiness that minimizes the contribution of hops in terms of bitterness.
Balanced beer and not as banal to drink as average, given the invasion of standard products in this style, although that silky and veiled sensation seemed to me almost like the sensation of suspension when you are reading a book and then, once the page is finished, you have to turn it and a new one begins: from the extremely fruity taste, after an almost neutral pause to be felt, you move on to the bitter pungent finish that certainly remains as the most evident taste note, even after drinking.
I didn't have many expectations, instead I was very pleasantly surprised and I'm considering taking some with me when I leave for the August holidays.

Thanks for the lengthy description of this beer, man! I have two comments and they are both unrelated to the liquid itself: Caserta. Everytime I hear that name I think of the days that Caserta had a great basketball team back in the 80s. Also I can't help but comment on the can art. I screams of Europe. The puritan lawmakers on this side of the Atlantic would go into an anaphylactic shock.

Perhaps you will remember Vincenzo ("Vincenzino") Esposito from that team, the third Italian ever to have been called up by an NBA team, the second to have scored points (after Stefano Rusconi).
And yes, there were other times and other worlds...

Even if the symbolic player of that Juve Caserta was Nando Gentile, another historic champion who would later win many other trophies

Yes indeed. I was too young to watch Esposito but definitely knew of him and his NBA adventure. As for Gentile, I do remember him well. A great lefty that had a great career in Italy and abroad. I wish his son had a similar career (definitely has the talent) but had other issues.

All this talk is making me thirsty for a beer. I promised myself to slow down for July but already had a DIPA late last night. Argh

Sturmbio Katmeliten. “Bio/biologique” is French for organic beer. I tried some organic beer before and wasn’t impressed.

Thanks for kicking off the thread this morning @Jack_14 . I'm stopped following the NFL and NBA in the 1990s, but am familiar with Tony Kukoc.

Tony won the FIBA World Cup with Yugoslavia in 1990 and the Olympic Silver medal in 1988 before winning the Coppa Italiana di Pallacanestro during the first of Benetton Terviso's three-peats between 1992-1995. He was then drafted by the Chiacgo Bulls and won a Three Peat here. He is currently the Special Advisor to the Bulls' Asshat Owner Jerry Reinsdorf.

Received my Nevada Passport Glass discussed further in the Mountain Region Beer Appreciation Thread and paired with this Reno Sparks offering.
