This old house needs a Lot of cleaning and repairs…I’Ve done enough today…back on the porch with a Torpedo Extra IPA:



The street is awash in colorful crape myrtle. I’ll relax a bit before starting dinner. Cheers y’all!

 

8.5 hours of driving and we’re home. I’m putting all the midwestern beer I bought in my bar fridge while drinking a great very local IPA - Palace from Autodidact. Cheers from tropical North Jersey!

 

Great Revivalist has also purchased the Karpeles Museum in Rock Island, IL. and will be turning it into a brewery/dining establishment like they did in Clinton, IA. Here's a photo of the museum.

 

Put this bitch in the freezer for an hour. I’m only mentioning it to trigger someone. Hahahhaa.

Like the "Babyless" Breakfast Stout, I miss the Royal Canadian Mounty on that one.

 

You should give it a try if you are ever in the area. The beer was very good. I bought some cans to take home.

I come to the Quad Cities every year as I have family here. Been to Decorah a couple of times and it was super fun. Unfortunately I won't make it to Sheboygan but I will keep it in mind for next year!

Wow that's insane. I'd love to see what they do with it!

 

Everyone raves about the Clinton, IA location, so I'm sure they'll do it up right. I believe it's slated to open sometime in 2025. We'll see, it's already beautiful on the inside, but they have a lot of work to do to transform it.
